PokerStars has added casino games to its Italian website. The games that will be accessible for Italian gamblers with the same wallet as the poker games will be roulette and blackjack. A variety of these games is available in the "Casino" tab of PokerStars.it.

PokerStars representative said that their expansion into casino market doesn't bring a big impact on their poker community, but they are hoping that with the time it will attract more recreational gamblers to the poker tables.

“The launch of casino games on PokerStars allows players to enjoy the convenience of playing poker and casino in one place,” said Sam Hobcraft, director of Casino for PokerStars and Full Tilt. “Our games are fun, safe and we are using our global experience to offer fun games for Italian players.”

The PokerStars casino offers it's games with a minimum bet of €0.10.

PokerStars have also launched a live poker room in an Italian mountain resort and celebrated the launch with a Mini Poker Tournament.

“The new PokerStars LIVE room in Saint-Vincent aims to become a must-go place for Italy’s poker lover,” said Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano. “We’re excited to bring the best of PokerStars’ live poker experience to Northern Italy, and to give players the opportunity to play in a well-run, trusted and high-quality new card room.”
